Guest Lecture : "Make Meaningful Entrepreneurship Journey"

Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering Lavale, Pune, Entrepreneur Cell organized guest lecture of Mr. Vrushasen Naphade, Entrepreneur on the topic "Make Meaningful Entrepreneurship Journey". He is a post graduate from London University. He has successfully raised fund of INR 8.5 crores at the tender age of 21. The guest lecture was aimed at developing entrepreneurial aptitude by bringing young minds together to present pertinent topics, and issues involved with entrepreneurial initiatives.

Around 250 students from all streams, department HODs and faculty members participated in the events. The event was a successful one because of the huge appreciation and over whelming response.

Disaster Management Training Session cum Workshop

The Disaster Management Training Session cum Workshop for students and staff was conducted in association with Board of Student Welfare, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The Session was conducted by team of experts from National Disaster Response Force [NDRF] Pune Maharashtra. From NDRF, Sub Inspector/GD Mr. L. B. Thapa of 5th BN Sudumbare, Pune. CT/GD Mr. Vikas Raut, CT/GD Mr. Kisan Kothale, CT/GD Mr. Akbar Tamboli and CT/GD Mr. Meenanath Walke, demonstrate various tool and techniques used for disaster management.

There were 269 students and staff present for the workshop.

Respected Principal, Dr. R. N. Patil had inaugurated the program and felicitated the guests. Prof. A. M. Ingole (Student Welfare Officer), All the HODs, Faculty and staff members were present for the program.

Through the workshop, students were trained to respond for various disasters that can occur and post preventive measures for various disaster situations.
