Equal Opportunity Cell

India is a diverse country, and education plays a crucial role in achieving social and economic equality. Recognizing this, Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering, Lavale (BVCOEL) is committed to addressing the unique challenges faced by disadvantaged groups, including Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC - Non-Creamy Layer), Women, Minorities, and Differently Abled Persons, in accessing educational and professional opportunities. To promote inclusivity and equitable access, our institute actively implements initiatives aimed at reducing disparities, supporting marginalized communities, and fostering awareness about their constitutional rights.

Aims and Objectives:

  1. Ensure fair representation and support for SC, ST, OBC, and minority groups in admissions and training.
  2. Establish a transparent grievance redressal system for disadvantaged groups.
  3. Safeguard the rights and interests of disadvantaged groups.
  4. Provide guidance and counseling on academic, financial, and social matters while ensuring policy implementation.
