INDUSTRIAL VISIT 2016

Industrial Visit of E &TC Department was arranged at Mapro Factory, Panchagani alongwith 44 students, 3 faculties and 1 peon on 18 March 2016.

The visit was designed to fulfill following objectives:

  • To observe the various operations involved in food processing industry
  • To understand the logic behind location and plant decisions
  • To understand how the organization has affected local economy, ecology, and culture
  • To recognize the health and safety needs in the Industry
  • To become aware of the career opportunities
  • To relate various class room lessons to the real life business situations

This Visit lead to a successful activity for the enhancement of student’s knowledge and it happened because of the efforts taken by Prof.S.G.Gawhale, I.V.Incharge.

MECHSTORM 2016

Mechstorm was a combined event covered on 10th & 11th March 2016 coordinated by E& Tc and Mechanical department which covered various technical events listed below.

  1. Paper Presentation
  2. Poster presentation
  3. Clay Modelling
  4. Counter Strike

In this auspicious moment Mr.Nitin Bhagwat, M.D. Noblecast Ltd, was a Chief Guest who made the event glamorous.

MATLAB WORKSHOP - "FUNDAMENTAL OF MATLAB"

Matlab workshop mainly focuses on the student eager to learn about Matrix Laboratory which is a high-level language and interactive environment for numerical computation, visualization, and programming. Using MATLAB, a student can analyze data, develop algorithms, and create models and applications. The language, tools and built-in math functions provide to explore multiple approaches and reaches to solution faster than with spreadsheets or traditional programming languages. MATLAB can be used for a range of applications including signal processing and communications, image and video processing, control systems, test and measurement, computational finance, and computational biology.

The duration of this workshop was two consecutive days with five hours session each day, in a total of ten hours properly divided into theory and hand on practical sessions. This workshop was conducted by Abhidheya labs and knowledge solutions and co-ordinated by Mr. Swapnil Saurav.
